Will The New iPad Be A Mini

Makers of the best iPad cases are really hoping that the new iPad 2 is going to be an iPad mini. It will mean massive amounts of new business for them as it is touted to have a seven inch display. It will mean many new cases sold to protect the much more portable version of the iPad.

But that is if this is what will be released. No one really knows yet what they are going to release and although there are plenty of rumors there is simply no definite news yet of just what apple will finally release under the iPad 2 name. We will simply have to wait and see.

It does seem more likely that what they will release will be an iPad mini. This is because it will allow apple to get a much larger slice of the very lucrative e-book reader market. Currently dominated by the Amazon Kindle, a smaller iPad will be much more preferable for those who want to read books on the tablet. Owners of the current iPad state that it is simply a little too large to comfortably read books on and when questioned said that a seven inch display would be much more preferable.

This is apart from the fact that a smaller model is going to be a lot cheaper to buy so apple will be able to corner more of the tablet market as a whole. But as no one knows for sure just what they will release it is a waiting game to see just what they finally release and what the difference will be to the current iPad that is still selling at an amazing rate and has the largest corner of the whole net book market as a whole. I for one would like to see a smaller model released as it will be much more affordable to buy.
